SABLE RESOURCES PRESENTS TECHNICAL RESULTS AT THE MINERAL EXPLORATION ROUNDUP 2007
February 1, 2007
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, February 1, 2007, Sable Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: SAE) (“Sable”) is pleased to announce a successful presentation of the Chappelle Project and the Shasta Mine property at the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (“AME BC”) Roundup 2007.
Sable was one of only eight British Columbia projects invited to present a technical presentation of the geological setting, history, and exploration results at this year’s Roundup. Sable presented to an audience of over 500 mining industry professionals.
At the presentation, Sable proudly reprised their highly successful 2006 exploration program at the Shasta Creek zone, highlighted by DDH-06-21, which intersected 29.4 metres of 0.236 ounces per ton of gold and 11.75 ounces per ton of silver (see news release August 17, 2006). Sable confirmed their plans to reopen the existing underground workings at Shasta and drive a new 150 metre decline to access the mineralization discovered at the Creek zone.
The Company expects to open their camp in the spring of 2007, and commence underground work immediately. Sable will fund underground development from existing working capital.
In addition to the Shasta Creek Zone project, Sable has budgeted $1 million in additional exploration on the Chappelle project.
