CORPORATE OVERVIEW
Sable is a Vancouver based mining and mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. Our shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SAE.
Sable has been involved by way of investment in several of British Columbia’s significant mineral discoveries: These include: Consolidated Barrier Reef Resources Ltd. (Blackdome Mountain Mine), Skyline Gold Corporation (Johnny Mountain Mine), Taurus Resources Inc. (Taurus Gold Mine), International Taurus Resources Ltd. and International Shasta Resources Ltd. (Shasta Deposit)
Since 1989, Sable has focused on our Toodoggone Metals Project - mining and producing gold and silver ores from our Shasta property, and mining and producing copper / gold concentrates from our Baker Mine. Operations have been from surface workings and underground developments on both properties. Our mine and mill properties are fully-permitted by the British Columbia Government.
Mineral processing takes place at our 250 ton-per-day Baker Mill. The Baker Mill was commissioned for DuPont of Canada in 1980 by Kilborn Engineering (Vancouver). The mill allows the production of either flotation concentrates to be exported for smelting , or on-site production of dore (gold and silver) bars. The mill is easily expandable to 500 ton-per-day.
Plans for 2007 include new underground development at the Shasta mine site. The development will produce ‘ore grade’ material for refining and production of gold and silver at the company’s Baker mill. In addition, an aggressive 7000 m diamond drilling exploration program will be conducted with the intent of increasing mineable material in the Shasta Creek zone, and to develop other known zones of mineralization at the Shasta and Baker mines and the Black Gossan exploration target.
